The need today for Churches, Mosques, Temples \u2013 genuine neighborhood religious congregations &#8211; across America; and, the need for them to grow. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">My notion is far from \u2018an original\u2019 thought and I will offer a link at the close of my comments to a short video from a man who says it very eloquently and drives my point home decisively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Like many of you, I read a lot of headlines each day <i>&#8211; and even understanding the editors are vying for attention with hyperbole angry overtones <\/i>\u2013 once in awhile I have to \u2018bite\u2019 and investigate further &#8211; asking: <b>Can it be true? And, if so &#8211; why, oh why, on earth \u2026 can it be true?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">In this case, what sparked my attention was the \u2018headline\u2019:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 20.0pt;\">\u201c<\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">Maine single mother facing eviction offered tent and camping gear by city<\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"font-size: 20.0pt;\">\u201d. <\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/maine-single-mother-eviction-tent-camping-gear\">Link if you desire<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 5.0pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7.0pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/maine-single-mother-eviction-tent-camping-gear\">www.foxnews.com\/us\/maine-single-mother-eviction-tent-camping-gear<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Yes, there is more to the story \u2013 so I included a link \u2013 you can decide if the option was viable in this case \u2013 but, <i>please<\/i><\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">, <u>I\u2019d like to address a larger point<\/u>.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">There are reasons, in today\u2019s society, for these things to be happening with alarming increase [which too many are overlooking]; and, sadly too, we have come to an age where even many religious leaders have succumbed to the onslaught of what so many insist is today&#8217;s \u201cstatus quo\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Separately, it is NOT the status quo, and that is an important point to teach to others in our circles &#8211; however, that is a topic of another composition referenced below as that is the &#8216;tail wagging the dog&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">I regret to report by personal experience that leaders of great Churches across the country are afraid to say:<b> Church is important [to the point of suggesting that to invite others to join (any religion) is offensive]. I say &#8216;nonsense&#8217;.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Too many will not declare today the simple fact that religion &#8211; even <b>Christianity<\/b> &#8211; is <b>central to the foundations of this great country<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Pastors, Priests, Imams, Ministers, Reverends, Rabbi\u2019s are in fear to stand up and declare it is [more than] a little important to <b>find a religion &#8211; become a part of a congregation<\/b> &#8211; join a Church that serves God, humanity, and ideals that help people make their lives better.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Forgive a short digression as I &#8216;say aloud&#8217; that Biblical religions &#8211; of every type &#8211; today &#8211; even fear to say that the notion of a <b>Traditional Family<\/b> is The Best foundation for this society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Quickly, <\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">[<i>lest I be wrongly labeled a hater<\/i>]<b> I declare my love for all kinds of families \u2013 but <i>the best<\/i> outcome grows from when we embrace the model where there is a mother, a father, and stable home. Homes in which mothers have time to mother, and fathers have both opportunity to provide financially \u2013 AND have time to share with, and grow with, love his family.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\"> Our neighborhoods, cities, and states \u2013 the people of our very Country &#8211; genuinely need to <b>reconnect with the Values we learn in those Churches<\/b>. Churches teach values, and promote Faith \u2026 in God \u2026and, they work to strengthen that faith \u2013 strengthen the people \u2013 all of them! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">People, in their religious faith, grow; and they love and help each other. Maybe the Government needs to get out of the welfare business and allow <i>\u2026 even encourage<\/i> \u2013 religions to do their Work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Churches i.e. Religious Congregations \u2013 be they Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist &#8211; are an essential part of America!<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\"> And not just as memorials or aging and empty \u2018monuments\u2019 on our street corners! <b>What we learn in those great houses of God is fundamental to the nature of being human on earth<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">And for the naysayers \u2026 I don\u2019t know a religion where God is not synonymous with Love \u2013 my notions are inclusive &#8211; not one national religion, nor is it some path to exclude those with no religion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">I am simply asking we understand better the importance of a religion\u00a0 \u2026 join a Mosque, Temple, Church &#8230; and openly invite God back into our Country, and our lives. If some choose not to accept God \u2013 that\u2019s fine \u2013 but stand clear of those who do. [See my composition about \u2018the tail wagging the dog\u2019 in this country].
