Sports? WNBA? Caitlin Clark?

On This Site?

Not sure why I stopped watching all sports on TV a couple of decades ago but I do remember when … it was when Jim Kelly’s Buffalo Bills couldn’t get it done … again and again.

I’m sure that wasn’t the entire reason – but that’s when I lost interest. Poor Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith. It was too bad. Great players.

Then, last year, I was flipping through some broadcast channels – stopped  to see this little skinny girl make an incredible shot from about half court…it was a sight to see – and then she made another – just as incredible a shot … and then another. I stayed on the channel and watch with both amazement and amusement. And the teamwork – I really enjoyed it.

I was ‘hooked’ and fell in love [figuratively] with Clark and the Indiana Fever … . I mean I got an adrenaline rush just watching her playand not just her – the team – as a team – was really, really good. I’d never heard of the WNBA [- and never, ever, watched NBA].

I am not going to review and list all the awful things that have been happening to Caitlin Clark – I saw it all – we all did. I will say that I pray for her emotional well being – and her physical safety. Too many mean spirited opponents. Very annoying … and so very wrong.

What a Talent! [and anyone exercising such a Talent – in any aspect of life – is just joyous for me to see].

So, I am watching the Indiana Dallas Game [Aug 14]. The contrast between this game and so many other games Indiana plays is striking and had me get up and get behind my keyboard …

THIS ONE WAS SIMPLY A GREAT GAME BY TWO VERY EXCELLENT TEAMS

It was great! Great Game. They played hard – but mostly fair [I saw a foul I thought was a bit over the top but…  no hatred. GREAT GAME.

Full stop.

The other crap has got to go… . It just does.

Oh, and sorry, I just can’t help myself …

It is WOMEN’s Basketball – and I know the difference between a man and a woman.

So much nonsense in the world today.

I’m Just Sayin’ … .
